Updates for July 10th, 2020

Salud de Mesilla will be open for Patio Service starting July 10th until the end of the New Mexico Health Orders. We will continue with our Curb Side and Family Meal Packs as well during this pandemic.

We continue to practice COVID safe cleaning guidelines with our every 30 minute restaurant cleanings as well as heightened safety when coming to you, our guests. We ask that if you are feeling sick that you please do not join us here at Salud for dining, if you are at risk individual, we ask that you stay home. Most importantly we require you to wear your mask while joining us here at Salud during your dining experience.

Starting with our Team

We have begun to bring back our entire team here at Salud, it was a real rough few months without them and we feel like part of our family was missing. Not only is our team following the recommended CDC and DOH guidelines for safety and sanitation, but we are also going above and beyond. Giving our team a better understanding of cleaning practices as well as changes in policy post-COIVD-19. Our team is checked-in upon arrival by a member of our Management Team to check their physical and mental health to make sure they are ready to take on the day. Giving our team guidance on both physical health and mental health because COVID-19 has taken a toll on everyone. We have also banned all physical contact within Salud between our team members and our guests to make sure that we have a stronger focus on sanitation and safety.

Cleaning Procedures

We want to make our mandated hygiene practices here at Salud obvious. Handwashing and glove changing is mandatory after each contact. Hand sanitizers and wipes are available throughout the restaurant for both our team and our guests. Masks are mandatory for our team and are readily available. We have a schedule sanitizing of all guest contact surfaces every 30 minutes with deep sanitization done every evening. Our team as well as our guest’s safety and hygiene is our first priority and we will adapt the cleaning guidelines as they change.

We are giving our guests more space to physically distance themselves from each other. Currently only setting every other table but are looking at more long-term changes to our floor plan that will help with our new normal. We will be using recycled and one-time use plates, cups, condiments, paper menus, digital menus, and no contact checks to make sure you feel safe and comfortable at Salud. In doing this we can make sure that we have less contact surfaces in the restaurant for you and our staff.

We will have a Social Contract for expected guest behaviors posted at the door (as well as online). This contract will be expectations to keep our team as well as you, our guest, safe while dining. One example that you will see in this contract is a requirement that you must come into the restaurant wearing a mask. We are offering our guests a brown bag to store their masks during their dining experience so it’s sanitary, safe, and secure. There is a recommendation for contact tracing, we will be gathering limited party/guest information through our reservation system to accommodate the recommendation.

Curb-Side and Delivery

Curbside and delivery are going to become a new focus for us here at Salud. We will continue to offer our Curb Side Contactless pick up. Using delivery services such as OrangeCrate to bring our yummy food to you.

Sun: 9am – 5pm

When you place your order mention that you would like your food brought out to you. In addition to your order (please include any condiments you may want.) We will need your name, phone number and make and model of your car. If paying by credit card, we encourage you to pay when ordering.

Just call us (575) 323-3548 when you arrive, and our staff will bring your order to you. Please show your identification and method of payment when picking up.
