Crate to Fork, Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 Batch New Mexico Red Chile Sauce (See Recipe)
- ½ bag jackfruit
- 4 Yukon Gold Potatoes cubed
Directions
- Put 1 batch NM Red Chile Sauce in a Stock Pot, add 4 cups water
- Add 1/2 bag of jackfruit to Chile water to rehydrate. Allow to soak for at least 30 minutes before turning on heat.
- Turn on heat and simmer Jackfruit in red chile sauce for 20 minutes (add small amount of water if needed)
- Add cubed potatoes to chile sauce
- Simmer until potatoes are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
