As the restaurateurs behind the popular eatery Salud! de Mesilla prepare to expand their business, they’ve partnered with the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management at New Mexico State University to give students the chance to put their knowledge to the test. The students in Hospitality Capstone shared their recommendations for their real life case study with Salud! de Mesilla owners, Russell Hernandez and Chris Schlajo yesterday. In January, they will be implementing some of the suggestions for increasing catering and online ordering. We can’t wait until Thursday when we start celebrating all the seniors’ accomplishments at graduation festivities.
